I would actually figure he'd Schaubcopter.

But it's better than throwing a stupid pass and having it end up in a dumb ass pick.

Give yourself a chance to win. Run the damn ball in.

Schaub is what he is. If you want a new qb because his lack of mobility holds us back, I would listen to the argument. But he isn't going to magically get fast because we want him to score on the last play. If he tries to run he gets unceremoniously dropped before sniffing the goalline.

The argument is not in the interest of getting a new QB, its just releasing frustration about a last second play (and call) that looked, for lack of a better word, unrehearsed.

No argument here. It was a screwup. Schaub is not a good off schedule QB and we won't win many games waiting for him to scramble for TDs on broken plays.

Also heard they suspect a torn pec for Mario which would mean ir. Casey may be the same injury.

I heard that, too. This season is teetering on the edge of disaster. Andy Reid is currently in the lead in good old chuck's 2012 straw poll.

Are you saying you want Andy Reid as our coach?

Just fast forwarded to that last play on the DVR, no way in hell Schaub gets into the end zone. He was @ the 5, a DB was closing in @ the 3. Looks like he tried to put it into a tight window for JJ, but obviously that didn't work.....

Also looked like they flushed him left on a play that most of his options were right.

Sucks.

Maybe with the owners meeting here in Houston this week, McNair will get some more compliments on how good his team looks when losing. That should fill him with enough confidence to think he has a top echelon team and coaching staff.

And I don't bring up the passing yards to prove he had a good game. He didn't have a good game. But he is not even near the front of the line when I am assessing blame to our offense. He played under pressure all game and had no protection. Sacked repeatedly, 6 balls batted down, no WRs getting open downfield. No running game to help him out. No running plays called (or screens) to slow down the pass rush. And he still moved the ball all day by throwing to guys like Joel Dreesen.

As for the final drive, it is a miracle we get down there with a bad punt return, a facemask on our gimply RG who should not have been on the field, no pass protection, and a bad snap. We managed to convert two 20+ yard conversions just on that drive (1st and 25 and 3rd and 23).

Not to mention he already threw what should have been the game tying TD to Vickers on the previous drive (the very fact that we are throwing to Vickers shows either a coaching/substitution screw up or a personell issue).

OL, play-calling, Jacoby Jones, and bad special teams play screwed us in this game, and the AJless offense could not overcome that.

I agree 100%...

BUT

Shaub still had a chance to overcome all those negatives and win the game (which is what winners do)...LOL

Id rather have Schaub try to make a play throwing the ball rather then try to bull rush it in and having to start Matt Leinart next week.
