well, that get's us to 12 CB's on the 80 man roster. I guess they are trying to find guys who will tackle as well as cover. From what I read Clevis was not really known as a good tackler or on special teams, but you never know. Probably we keep six.

Well, that pretty much shows how worried they are about the CB position. I am underwhelmed with this addition. I hope this guy doesn't end up being a "flash" in the pan!

Even Commissioner Gordon would be a help back there right now...

It is all about bringing in guys who have some ability. With Cato going to the IR, this move does not cost us anything and we get to take a look at him. The Chargers must have liked
Him or they would not have slapped a high tender on him. If we take 6 db's out of camp I figure it will be
Dunta, Jacques, Fred, Molden, Quinn, and Mccain. Unless they think they can ps one of the rooks (mccain) he would be looking to be the 6th cb.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he's at least on a par with Faggins.

The CB situation is, by far the most unsettled group going into the season, and Mr. Robinson is off visiting other neighborhoods, instead of being in camp learning what Gibbs expects of him. Either McCain or Quin will have to be put on the PS, and Robinson will have to sit till he can be counted on in the new system. I sure hope Reeves can come back early from that ankle injury. If I were enemy coordinators i would test the CB's early and often.

The only way this makes sense is they want him to be a returner. He is not a very good CB.

I would rather them sign Ty Law or play Deltha O'Neal.

Sometimes Rick Smith does things that I can not figure out.
