The reason is because we need to always figure out ways to get Andre Johnson the ball. When Owen Daniels went out we had a little bit of a difficulty because we didn't have a secondary GO TO receiver. There shouldn't be a such thing as having too much talent. Yeah we were number 1 in passing but as we all can figure in this league nothing should be taken for granted. Additionally Brandon Mashall coming here opposite Andre Johnson should be something that should intrigue him because the possibilities and potential is limitless with an offensive guru of a coach, very decisive and intelligent QB, and the greatest receiver in the league lining up om the opposite of you. I would definitely welcome the idea and would personally feel bad for defensive coordinators who had to gameplan against us especially if Steve Slaton has a comeback year, we get another stud running back, and if Arian Foster can compliment them. Actually I'm getting more and more excited about the idea as I'm typing this. Hope it happens.

Right, it's not that we wouldn't like to have Marshall on the team. So long as he'd come over for free and play for 2nd wide receiver money, I think that almost everyone's on board. The problem is the opportunity cost to get him. Of all the positions we could upgrade, WR is the last one that comes to mind.
