Default Larry Johnson - Wash, Brady Quinn - Den

Big changes. LJ and Portis both in the backfield for Coach Shanahan. Brady Quinn never really had a shot in Cleveland, but now gets to go from Weiss to McDaniels. I thought the Broncos would trade for Brady last year after shipping off Cutler. Wimbley also leaves the Browns and goes to the Raiders. LT is now a Jet instead of Charger. Moves are coming fast and furious.

Shanahan traded Portis rather than give in to his contract demands when they were together in Denver. I'm not sure their relationship will be any better in DC. Johnson, however, tends to be a "coach-killer" - too immature to depend on but too talented to sit.

The Bronco boards are having a meltdown over the Quinn trade although most are accepting it better once they learn how low the draft picks were they gave up as well as the knowledge that Quinn won't have to do much to be an upgrade over Chris Simms and, at 25, Quinn might still have some upside in the right system.

The Jets essentially traded Thomas Jones for LT - there's no doubt who was better 3-4 years ago. But now? A much tougher question.

A more interesting unanswered question is "Who will quarterback the Vikings next year?"
