For off-field entertainment value, you can't beat the Oakland Raiders.
PFT reported the other day that the Raiders have cut sixth-round draft choice DE Stryker Sulak before even starting to discuss contract terms. The agent claims the Raiders did not bother to call him and notify him and Sulak insists there has been no off-field developments (such as injuries, police incidents, etc.) that would have caused the Raiders to dump him. Sulak attended the mini-camps as requested and thought he actually did pretty well. He's puzzled why he was cut although the recent signing of DE Greg Ellis probably dropped him another notch down the depth chart. In my opinion, the Raiders assumed anyone with the first name "Stryker" was going to be a bad ass and when they found out he had no rap sheet, they realized he wasn't "Raider material". Put another way, if Sulak had been one of Michael Vick's dogs, they would have drowned him. What a way to start your pro career. Hope he rebounds and finds a team that wants him. |

IIRC, he is a DE so I expect someone will at least ask him in for a look-see. Talk about a dysfunctional team though.

I would give him a look, but on our team with the new found depth at DE he is at best a PS guy.
