The official site has an article and a video talking about Chris Brown.
Please tell me the team really is not thinking Brown will add anything but a draw to the bank account?

If he's able to stay healthy he would be a nice compliment.
You're obviously going to have to still draft a RB (or two.) But, Brown would be a nice veteran compliment. Still, I recall his injury being pretty serious last season. I don't expect him to make it out of camp. |

He would have been a nice veteran complement last year too, IF he had decided he didn't want to ride the collective bargaining agreement, laying out, and drawing a paycheck. Wouldn't we all like to do that? Unfortunately in a real society his actions spoke much louder than his phony back ailment. Boot him I say!

His salary isn't that high, he isn't that old, he's a big back, so if he's well, could be ok as a veteran backup, alternate with Slayton. Pretty optimistic interview so I'm willing to wait and see how it goes. Last year was certainly disappointing.
