The 4-10 Houston Texans host the 11-3 Pittsburgh Steelers this Monday afternoon (Xmas day) in a game on NBC and NFLN. The Texans are coming off a 45-7 road drubbing by Jacksonville Jaguars and the Steelers had their 8 game win streak stopped last Sunday night with a 27-24 controversial home loss to the New England Patriots. The Steelers lost standout WR Antonio Brown in that game and he is expected to miss this game with a leg contusion - but they are still quite loaded. On paper, this one looks like a slaughter. However, Pittsburgh is noted for doing just enough to win in their road games and it's not too early to start resting starters for the playoffs. Then again, injuries have depleted the Texans so one wonders how much fight they have left...

I'm just going to watch the game today - I'm having a hard time bringing the energy to log in the plays when there's been so much bad football, lately. Might post a comment or two....
That said, I do expect TJ to play better and hope he's got all the rust knocked off.... If things go perfectly, perhaps the Texans can cover the spread... |

This team is so terrible that it's not even any fun to revel in their ineptitude.
Slick Rick and McNeck have done the impossible. They've made me lose interest in the NFL. I guess the NBA style reply fk ups don't hurt, either. The whole league just sucks anymore. |

So for the first time ever the Texans send in a quarterback that not only did I not know was on the team, I literally have never even heard of him.
This is what happens when your idiot lapdog GM buys his OL at the dollar store. |

Welp, I should have known that was too good to last. That guy, whatever his name was, has a concussion.

And congratulations to DeAndre for one of the most ridiculous catches you'll ever see.
And congratulations to the seven or eight other guys out there who didn't get a concussion or weren't forced to leave due to some other type of injury. |

Another brutal loss for the Texans but I still love them, they are my guys.
But let me take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas, well not all of you. I mean we go our PC purists which I would guess includes the Chuckster so for those of his ilk I say Happy Holidays. |
