Default AP Trade - Would you do it?

If you could fit AP into the same salary slot as Foster, would you trade for him? Of course, it would have to include Foster in the deal or trading him somewhere else... I know it would never happen, but just curious of your opinions. I would do it.

Since I like Arianne Foster, I would not do this trade.

If I have a top player, don't change it to unknown , maybe good.

I wouldn't pull that trigger.

No way, I think it would be foolish given how much APs contract is and therfor we'd be obligated to assume cap wise. Get several more backs with a mid or late-round pick and signing of undrafted rookies an see which one(s) is/are best in preseson to retain on the roster.

Running game doesn't seem to be the problem. Why spend an arm and a leg to improve it slightly?

If AP could throw for 4,000 yds, a more compelling case could be made.

My criteria was if you could re-do his contract (salary and years) and fit him into the same remaining contract that Foster now has - and thus replace Foster with AP. No way I'd do it for a high pick and/or for his current contract, but I would for a mid-to-low pick. I think AP is more dynamic than Foster and he's going to have a hella chip on his shoulder when he comes back.

I actually prefer Foster. Peterson has never been a pass catcher, and I think what Foster does in the passing game more than makes up for the small difference in running ability. Especially since O'Brien's offense makes great use of the RB out of the backfield and even motioned out wide.
