Default Texans Announce Color Change

Bob McNair has announced a slight change to the Texans' color scheme.

Going forward, the team colors will be known as Mallett Red, Liberty Watt and Alfred Blue.

Maybe they can work in some Duane Brown for the Salute to Service game....

Kinda sucks the Texans don't have a throwback jersey.... I think most of us don't want to have much to do with the Tennessee Oilers anymore...

The throwback jerseys are Ahman Green, obviously.

You mean throwaway jerseys, such as the green they wasted on Green.

If I were to make a list ranking the players the Texans have foolishly wasted money on Green wouldn't be on the first page. Maybe not even the second, depends on how small I'm writing.

Yes, even though the Texans front office is keeping this list on a Big Chief tablet, they are probably using those extra fat pencils, too.

From a dollar perspective, Green wouldn't top the list. David Carr tops that list.

For $-per-performance, Tony Boselli tops my list followed by Ed Reed then Green.

For total $$$ wasted, quarterbacks wearing #8 have to top the list.
