Default Texans FA Workouts

Couldn't find a recent thread pertaining to in-season Texans FA workouts so I reluctantly created a new one. Maybe we can use this thread in the future for these. Anyway...

Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl 7m
#Texans worked out former #Rams first-round pick OT Jason Smith.

This guy has been a slug his whole career so I highly doubt they'll sign him.

First Round ? Jesus, this guy was the #2 overall pick in the 2009 Draft ! What a monumental bust.
I kinda remember this guy coming out after playing at Baylor, but forgot he was drafted that high, #2 overall, wow !

They tell me the Texans are still not happy with the right side of the OL which would still be a big story if Schaub's foibles weren't a bigger one.

According to the local radio here in Houston. Rick Smith works out a different position group on each Tuesday unless there is a pressing need.

If you ask me it is just Rick Smith and the pro personnel guys gather names to watch or to discard.
