Last Sunday when I saw the Packers lost I had a bad feeling about the game with the Texans. Throughout the week news keep coming in about the injuries, and how bad the OL has been, Rogers has lost it, and I started to think we got this one, but.....
The Texans laid an egg last night. It was one of the worse whipping I have ever seen on a prime time game. And all I can say is they sucked, now move on. One game at a time. Oh and thank god the AFC sucks this season.

Lewis and Webb are now out for the season. Thuggs is still out for the season and Ngata is limping. KC and Dallas both gashed the Ravens in the running game. I can see why Houston is favored as long as they get their heads out of their jocks.

And Trindon Holliday the Bronco just muffs a punt that Chargers recover and turn into a FG....
------------------------------ I think I've seen the Ravens 2 or 3 times this year. There something about them this year.... they don't seem to be clicking on all cylinders yet they are winning. Somewhat like the Texans in this sense. They don't seem as scary as in past seasons. Where they differ, 5 of the Ravens 6 games have been decided by 7 pts. or less.... The Ravens only loss was by one point to Philadelphia (24-23). The Texan's loss was a doozy.... |

Hope the little guy enjoyed his brief visit to the Rockies ? (And can you believe that WR falling flat on his face after catching the pass from Manning when he had a wide-open path the GL ?) |

And yet after all the first-half pratfalls, Denver came back to win, 35-24 so Holliday is still undefeated on the season.
![]() That happened a couple of seasons ago when Denver started 6-0 then cut their punter who was signed by Tennessee. The Broncos then proceeded to miss the playoffs while the Titans went on a long winning streak. Let's hope Holliday wasn't our lucky rabbit's foot. |

Well, at least the Texans loss wasn't the most embarrassing and humiliating one of the NFL weekend. At least we out-and-out lost. Charger fans have got to feel like a total pile of dung today with buffoons AJ Smith, Norv Turner and Philip Rivers at the helm. Think Eli, Peyton and Pops Manning feel pretty good today? I think Drew Brees might even have gotten a chuckle out of that one...

Thuggs is coming off the PUP list in the next couple of days but it's not believed he will be ready for game action until Thanksgiving.

For me the Giants win over SF was the most impressive victory of the NFL season to date because they traveled 3 time-zones to beat a very good football team and beat them decisively. IMO that's the true mark of a strong and confident football team, on the road a long distance to win over a formidable opponent in that fashion. I dunno, have we done that ?

![]() The Texans are who we thought they were - contenders and a pretty good team. Still much to work on - they still have to learn about Life-without-Cushing.... but the Green Bay game looks like just a good slap in the face, now. Perhaps we can meet up with them again? ![]() |

I think the only real worry we have left is New England. Barring a total collapse, we'll win the AFC South and we now have the tiebreaker with Baltimore so we'd have to finish with a worse record than them to lose the HFA throughout the playoffs. What's left is New England who we will have to play in December as our third consecutive road game and as a Monday Nighter.
I suspect that will be a loss so we just need to go into that game with a two-game lead on them. |

You don't think Chicago or Minnesota or even the Colts might be pretty competitive games?

In all honesty, I can see us splitting with the Colts, mainly due to the Week 17 game being there, with us likely having little, if anything, to play for. And we stay winless in Indy......

possible, I see you are concentrating on AFC games only.
I was asking overall, how we might do against Bears and Vikings as it does impact our overall record. of course main thing, is the next game, Buffalo, win that one after the by-week. cleaning up our penalties and turnover and defense getting turnovers makes a lot of difference in the score. And perhaps defense applied more pressure on Flaco than it seemed to get against Rogers. |

I see us losing either the Indy or Titans road game and doing no better than a split with the NE, ChiTown, Motown, & Minny games all of which are on the road except for Minnesota.

That would be ok to end up 11-5 or 12-4, but I'm hoping we win some of those tough road games.
