Default Tebow To Start Sunday vs. Texans

The ultimate miracle worker vs. the ultimate team that gives up miracle plays. I watched Tebow play last week and he makes plays but he's obviously raw and not ready to be a NFL quarterback. Oakland stuffed him once they put eight in the box and blitzed hard.

You mean like Kareem Jackson is raw and not ready to be an NFL CB ?

Actually, when he was drafted, everyone said Jackson was the most "NFL ready" cornerback on the board. Go figger.

If your Denver this makes perfect sense, the Texans secondary makes most bad QBs look like HOFers, so if you have a young 1st round QB and you need to see what you have and you want to build confidence in him, well here is the silver platter called the Texans defense.

If you are the Texans then you are happy cause the only teams you seem to be able to beat have been lately have been teams QBed by a rookie.

In most fantasy leagues, Tebow is expected to get about 25 points. Which ultimately means that he is going to get about 3 TDs.

I am almost tempted to bench Phillip Rivers for Tebow. Everyone else is...

Kubiak on Tebow from NFL.com:

Quote:
The presence of Tebow provided an offensive spark, the team rallying around their enthusiastic quarterback in the huddle.

It was certainly visible to Texans coach Gary Kubiak.

"You saw the energy of the football team pick up," Kubiak said. "I've been very impressed."

To prepare for Tebow, Kubiak and his staff have been calling up footage from the preseason. Not that Tebow even remotely resembles that person.

Sure, Tebow is still quick to take off when a play breaks down. But his reads have progressed, and his feet aren't quite as antsy.

"How (Tebow) played last week tells you that he was taking care of his business every week. He was staying ready to play, getting himself ready for his opportunity," Kubiak said. "What you're facing is another back back there, that's very capable of beating you with his legs as well as his arm."

Well it should make for an interesting game..............I hope!

I also hope they let Foster set out the game after the first quarter or so. He is rather beat up from all the hits he has taken.

I wonder how good Denver's defense will play against our offense?
