DeMeco shoots the gap for a tackle. Another punt.

Very happy with the D. Announcers are trying to put the jynx on. Player haters.

Jacoby with a 23 yard punt return.

Lechler outkicked the coverage which is a dangerous thing to do when Jacoby Jones is back there.

Would love a long, demoralizing drive here. Like that Schaub is going with a hard count today. Don't remember seeing that much... We'll take the free yards.

1st and 5 after penalty, and Slaton gets hand off for no gain.
2nd and 5 and Slaton trips over Studdard and fumbles.

Mario got some pressure and Cushing made sure Miller didn't get any YAC.
Raiders false start leaving 1st and 15. Another false start for 1st and 20. Draw play bottled up by Barber and Ryans. 2nd and 16 - Inc. Pass to DH-B as Barber covers him up. 3rd and 16 - Mario got pressure and Ryans tackled Milller after little screen pass for 8. Janikowski ready to kick 46 yard FG that's good. Still satisfied with our Defense.

The longer this season goes, the more I think Slaton's success last year was a fluke. He ought to be a third-down back.

Nice return by AD on the kickoff - brings it back to the Texan 31.

Tight end screen to OD goes for about 5.

Deep pass to Walter goes for 42 yards. Ball at the Raider 24.

Moats for 3 or 4.

2nd down pass goes inc.

Moats sighting......
I always get a little frustrated when we run on 1st down with a run formation.

Perhaps we should have drafted Glen Coffee instead of signing a undrafted FA to be our "power" back.

I think we would've drafted Coffee, but he got picked before our slot in the third round, so we ended up with this Crimson Tide buddy, Caldwell.
