Roy, You don't have Unger on the list. If that wasn't an oversight, can you explain what you don't like about him? I really like him from the limited stuff I've seen. I think he can be an Eric Steinbach type player- in regards to his versatility... I think he played all 5 OL positions during his career.

I like him. He's probably a 2nd round pick before we even get to our pick. I don't like him so much that I would trade up for him. His Combine numbers are not consistent with a ZBS guy. I like Eric Wood and Alex Mack just as much if not more and can probably get them later on in the draft.

My list has quite a bit of variables that I don't have the time to go through. A part of it has to do with probability that a player will be available compared to players I have around him. Some people call that "value" or whatever. In my estimate, Unger is currently overvalued.

HIs numbers might not be wat YOU want but his play on the feild speaks volumes for his ability to play in a ZB scheme. Ill go on record right now and say if he is selected by a team that runs it he will be an allpro. He is the best second level blocker I have ever seen in college. The only thing he is lacking right now is strength. That can be fixed. If he does get stronger IMO he has a chance on being one of the best OL to come out of this draft.

We all have opinions. I just think that Eric Wood will be better than Unger. Especially since I've seen mock drafts where Unger is drafted by the Steelers in the 1st round, I think Wood will be better value.

I don't think his versatility should be discounted. First, I think it says a lot about his athletic ablity that he successful played LT and C in the same season. Also, I think it says a lot about his understanding of the game and his technical ability. Especially, though, with teams only dressing 7 linemen most games, he offers a flexibility that is almost invaluable, IMO

If he were available in the second round we will be making a big mistake not taking him. I stand by what I said earlier. He could end up one of the best OL to come out of this draft.

No disagreement here. Which is why he has come off my board. I'm not looking to trade down to get him nor would I trade up to get him. It is more a matter of where we are on the draft slots and where I see him coming off the board.

After some consideration, I've decided to put Unger back on the list. Still think it's a moot point, but I think I really want him more than LeSean McCoy. Afterall, there are other RBs who may be available later in the draft, but not many versatile OL. So, to keep things concise, Unger will replace McCoy on the My Guys draft board on its next update. I also think I'll be adding another USC Trojan.
