I can go with most of your list. I'm not as down on TJ as you are, but I realize I'm in the minority on that. Sage is what he is. He's a decent back-up. I don't think he's worn out his welcome with the coaches in that role. If they get a decent trade offer he could be gone. If he thinks he can get a starting job when his deal is done he'll leave.

Green is done here.

Greenwood is gone. He probably was anyway, but Adibi has been good enough to put the nail in the coffin

Chris Brown probably gets one more shot in training camp, but the he doesn't have much wiggle room.

CC will probably have a hard time sticking around.

Faggins is probably as good as gone.

I'm not big on TJ, I just think he is good enough to be in our rotation at DT if his salary is reasonable (I don't know if it is). If we were to start replacing DTs he would probably be 3 or 4 on my list to replace since at this point I think he is better than Amobi, zgoniga, and okam. I know that doesn't say much, but I would still take him over those 3 who managed to have a roster spot on our team all year. Now if we find a decent one in the offseason AND if one of the younger two beats him out in camp next year, then get rid of him. I just think DT is one of the thinnest positions in the NFL and he has another year at least as one of our 2-3 best DTs before we get better here.

Thank you for pointing out what I have been saying for sometime, TJ is our best DT, and he is playing out of position. He is playing the way the coaches want him to play the position, read then react. He is better at penetration and disrupting the backfield, but our coaching staff wants the DTs to hold their guys and then see where to go. Wrong system for smaller DTs.

I'd support TJ for now as well, most of Dline is young.

I guess Faggins , Greenwood, Bruener , Demps would seem most likely to go to me, today. Overall I think we are getting better, should lead to a more stable team in future.

Definitely Brown and Green. I didn't even know we still had Brown. I'll assume he's on IR for the back related problem?

Anybody kept up with OT Rahad Butler, the good looking young ZB prospect
who played ball with Eric Winston at Miami in college ?
I know he was injured early in the season but never saw him return to the
active roster and yet never saw where he was placed on IR ?

Butler is still on the roster. With Winston entrenched at RT and Brown showing that he should be able to play well at LT Butler is looking at backup duty behind Salaam. He can play swing like Salaam and as long as he feels comfortable sitting on our roster like that I expect he sticks and takes over Salaams duties after retirement this year or next.

TJ is getting 2.2M next year, which is not bad at all. Plus the fact he is better than any of the other DT's and really should be rotating with Amobi rather than playing NT I dont see him going anywhere.

Faggins-- It depends on resigning DRob and how the team feels about Molden and Bennet next year after camp. DRob, Reeves, Bennet, and Molden are almost locks, and the 5th CB spot will need to contribute on ST. Faggins has played ok ball for us and steped in when needed. He has starting exp and good/bad stretches. At this point he would be more vertern depth than threatening the rotation.

Rosenfels-- I would still take him over a few of the other starting QB's out there. I doubt he gets a starting job anywhere else next year though so there is no reason to get rid of a guy you know can win games and knows your system very well unless you are grooming Schuabs replacement.

Green has taken his last snap IMO. Too much money, too many injuries, not enough production.

Taylor-- I dunno, I didnt see anything about his release but he isnt listed on IR either. Kubes likes him alot and I think if they bring him into camp healthy he has a good shot at competing with Moats, his shot at being #1 apart from an injury is pretty much over at this point.

CC Brown-- If Wilson is on the roster next year you can pretty much bet that there is no room for CC to beat Demps or Barber. Harrison is a different story though.

Greenwood-- He is slated to make 6.2M next year. I dont know how much the team would eat in 2009 for cutting him, but his replacement is on the field and playing now. It may be better to keep him as depth the last year of his contract that eating the monies and still signing depth that probably is not as good.

Weaver-- This man frustrates me to no end. When he shows up he shows up and when he doestn blah! And to date I have seen him show up 3-4 times? He is signed through 2010 and for big money. How much is the scheme and how much is the player? Unless they make another splash in FA or draft a DE high he will most likely play out his contract.

Bruenor-- He is the 3rd TE, which I dont understand why we carry 3 because the third is rarely active and not a postion which would command as much need for depth as some others. With Daniels and Dreesen playing as well as they do I have no issue with leting Bruenor ride the pine and provide verteran leadership and depth if really needed.

Well, that is why I put TJ first on my list. It is very frustrating to me the way we draft these DTs (to be penetrators), and then expect them to sit back and read before they react. Heck just plug the gaps and go after the QB I say. On the flipside TJ has never impressed me with his motivation. I do not agree that he is our best defensive tackle, but I do see that better use could have been made of him.

Why, because Gary Kubiak challenged him to work a little harder three years ago? I'm not attacking you, but I hear this from people all the time, and I haven't seen any evidence of it in a long time. Maybe early on in his career, but I think he has been a very high motor guy...especially this year.
