Probably several franchise lows set today.....

Next up, the Pats come to town and are 7½ pt favorites....

I thought the Bills would cover by halftime so maybe that's 10:10 hindsight.

Well, if you're that sure, you should put your money where your mouth is, take up gambling and make some money. (upgrade from that "shack" in River Oaks as nunusguy would say, lol).

The trick is to be correct before the game starts....

Bad weather is often an equalizer, which ought to have worked in the Texans' favor being so outmatched in talent. Instead, the bad weather made a bad team even worse.

I'm still pessimistic about Davis Mills. And maybe one day he will prove me wrong. And the Texans probably don't care about winning games this season anyway, but I have to think it might benefit both Mills and the Texans to sit the rookie a couple games and watch a journeyman under center.

Ya, his (Mills) inexperience is starting to show. He really looked like a rookie today. The timing with receivers is not always on point, i.e. late throws. His intermediate/deep ball is somewhat "soft". I question his arm strength.

It's not all bad, though. He has tools but he better learn fast to survive....

---------------------------------------------

The Bills made it look easy. Stop the run, double team Cooks and make the rookie beat you with his arm (while applying pressure).

----------------------------------------------

Looking at the schedule, I don't think the Texans are going to be favored in any of the remaining games. I was thinking maybe the Jets game but they just beat the Titans today. We might have us a 1-16 team if Tyrod doesn't make it back. Depressing future for the fans.....

But that's Buffalo weather which as a dome team is unfamiliar to the Texans.
It's tough not to be pessimistic about Mills, but I still think the sample size needs to significantly increase before we can complete a thorough evaluation.
Re the female announcer, I suspect she's got as much experience playing ball as Al Michaels does.
Once again good job Arky, appreciate your reports.
