Only NFL refs could screw up a call so bad that they single-handedly decided who went to the Super Bowl, so bad that the league had a change of rule, and the refs response is to ignore that rule because it implies they screw up calls.

And yet the league today stopped what it was doing and overturned a non-call specifically so they could hang a penalty on Richard Sherman.
