Jeff Fisher Denies He Will Head Coach Houston's New XFL Franchise

Via Twitter, Jeff Fisher shot down a report today suggesting that he would be the head coach of the new XFL franchise in Houston. He then went on a roll replying to would-be jokesters on the site using Fisher's oft-cited 7-9 record.

I had to chime in with a reference to a one-liner Dave wrote back in 2001 on the old HoustonProFootball.com site:

Oiler fans will deny, vehemently, that 'Oiler' head coach Jeff Fisher looks exactly like your local Domino's Pizza manager.
