To say 2015 was an underwhelming draft overall is putting it nicely. I posted in the round 1 thread that I thought Johnson was a solid pick. Oh well.
Like many others, I thought Bud Dupree would be the one to draft, but in theory getting a mid-1st CB is a good idea. The Chiefs also believed this, selecting Marcus Peters two picks later. |

If you review the rest of the first round, they were pretty much all busts other than Peters who was such an undisciplined pain-in-the-patoot to the Chiefs so much that they traded him.

in my opinion, there are two kinds of bust, the ones that don't work out, Jalen Strong for example. and then there are the the other class, the injury bust. The injury bust are harder to predict.
I see Tim Couch in that category. He injured his throwing shoulder, and was never the same. And now I place Kevin Johnson in the category. the kid was a willing tackler, but he was slightly built, which has nothing to do with head injuries, so him being an injury risk should have been foreseen. GMs do make mistakes. Hope he lands on his feet.
