Nic Harris of Oklahoma? Personally I wouldnt cry if we went OL early. Adding Oher to this line would definatly be an upgrade. Having a dominating OL would help the defense by controling the clock. This one surprised me! 27. Denver Broncos - *Donald Brown (RB) Connecticut Analysis: It's strange to look at the Broncos as a passing team, but that's what they've become with Cutler at the helm and (more importantly) Selvin Young and Andre Hall carrying the ball. Brown is an ideal fit for the Broncos one cut and go offense, he'll put up big numbers right away and give this offense more balance. He is the sleeper player I have been talking about. I was hoping he would last until the 3rd or 4th round. Looks like he starting to get noticed. |

As they say, "I'm a'gin it"! Right now with the way our defense is underperforming, it would be a crime to go offense. We Need RDE and MLB/OLB plus insurance CB more than anything else in the world. I might........might consider offense after round 4!
RDE - Michael Johnson, Ga. tech, 6-7, 257 MLB - Dannel Elerbe, 6-7, 235 (put some weight on him) CB - Ryan Palmer, UT, 5'9 1/4", 190

While Oher might be the "star" pick, there is nothing that wrong with the Oline now. It is not the best, but it is workable which means if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Haynesworth would be a "star" F/A signing for sure, and would hugely upgrade the Dline, but at what cost? Do we want another lazy overpriced F/A? He has been known to only be motivated when it suits him, not the team. Remember we still have Okam who hasn't even been tested yet! Let's keep a level head here.

I keep hearing this and its getting old. So he didnt come right into the NFL and make an imediate impact. Alot of players take a few years before they "get it". I think the guy has more than proved himself the last 2 years. We are talking about the premeir DT in the nfl. You could make a case for him being the MVP of the NFL this year. There is not another single player in the NFL that would have the impact on this team that Haynesworth would have. He brings everything to this defense that it lacks. Toughness, agressiveness, attitude, and he is a proven run stopper who commands DC to gameplan against him. He instantly makes our best players (Mario & Ryans) better just by being on the field. I would love Suggs and think he would be a great pickup but in no way would he have the impact that Haynseworth would have. |

I think we have to grab someone for the D'line to round it out in f/a. Waiting for someone to develop right now isn't really productive because we've spent so much there with so little in return. plus it gives one less thing to aim for in the draft.

1.) A Haynesworth 2.) Terrell Suggs Haynesworth would do so much for this team IMO. |
