Oz's pass is batted down, inc.
Oz scrambles for about 7 and draws the roughing penalty while running out of bounds. Places the ball at the Jag 37 with 17 seconds left. Pass to Griffin too high, inc. Deep pass to Hop too long, inc. 3rd and 10 coming up with 7 seconds left in the half. Crappy pass to Hop comes up short. Texans going for it 4th down.... Deep pass goes out bounds, inc. End of the half. Texans 14, Jags 10

What was that last series about ? O'Brien didn't even act like he was interested in getting into position and salvaging any points, like maybe a FG from 40 or 35 yards ? Sure Novak can't hit if from 50 but maybe he can from 35.
It gets more and more discouraging watching Osweiler. I almost wished he had a gotten nicked up from the out of bounds hit from the Jags defender so they would have to bring in Savage for a few plays.

Nice tackle by Ervin on the punt ... flags down.... personal foul on the Jags.... places the ball at the Jag 13. Jag's ball.

Yeldon for 6. Brings up 3rd and 4. Pass to Robinson goes for 15. Yeldon gets caught by Clowney for a loss of 1. Pass to Robinson gets 5. 3rd and 5 coming up. Pass to Yeldon gets 17 and the 1st down. Deep pass to Hurns too long, inc. 2nd and 10 coming up. Ivory for 2. Brings up 3rd and 8. Pass to Thomas gets 2. Jags will be punting..... Punt goes into the end zone for a touchback. Hunt for 9.
Oz scrambles for 3 or 4 on a busted play. Pass to Hop broken up, inc. On 2nd and 10, Hunt gets loose but flag on Clark for holding brings it back. Makes it 2nd and 20 coming up. Pass to Fido gets 5. 3rd and 15 coming up. Delay to Hunt only gets 3. Texans will punt. Nice tackle by Anderson keeps the punt return from being worse, Jags will have the ball at their 28 yard line.

Jags bring the ensuing kickoff back to their 21. Jag's ball.

Ivory for 3. Ivory for no gain. Brings up 3rd and 7. Pass to Robinson goes for 19 and a 1st down at the Texan 35. Timeout Jags (#1) with 1:21 left in the 3rd qtr. ------------------------------------------------- Bortles pass can't find a home, inc. Yeldon for 5. Brings up 3rd and 5. Pass to Thomas gets 4...... Jags going for it on 4th and 1. End of the 3rd qtr. ------------------------------------------------- Jags change their minds and opt to go for the FG. Myers 44-yarder is good. Texans 21, Jags 13 14:56 left in the game.

Hard to complain after a W, but... 27 attempts and 99 yards from our starting 'NFL' QB. But hey, it's not about stats.
 We've all been teleported back to the Carr/Capers era where the QB is incapable of pushing the ball beyond 4yds. Well, at least Brock hasn't started 'scrambling' out of bounds behind the LOS.....yet.Not a huge deal, but WTH was OB thinking running the ball the last 2 or 3 plays of the game rather than just kneeling down?  Greater risk of a fumble and Miller is already banged up so why have him take on the extra hits? OB had a couple brain-fart moments yesterday.Man, this franchise!!!
