The Texans obviously liked this guy a lot more than any other receiver that was out there. I like that they went and got the guy they wanted rather than settling for whoever was left.
They still need someone to return kicks. |

The Skins take Doctson at #22. I wonder if they would have taken him @ #21 without the trade. Then, I would have taken Michael Thomas or traded down. Surprised that Laquon Treadwell is still available too. Very interesting.

25 picks in and I am still looking at Michael Thomas, Jarran Reed, Bronson Kaufusi, Sterling Shepard, Kevin Dodd, Carl Nassib, Jason Spriggs, Vernon Butler, Kenny Clark, A'Shawn Robinson, and Paxton Lynch. The Broncos just traded up for....

The Broncos gave up #94 and #31 to trade up to #26. I would have traded down from #22 for that. The Broncos select...Paxton Lynch.
The Packers are up next, and Ted Thompson always seems to draft My Guys. Guessing he takes Jarran Reed or one of my other 1st round graded players.

DAMN!!!! I was so hopeful that Garnett might last until the 3rd round. I would have been pleased if the Texans or Colts would have selected him in the 2nd round. He was just too good to slide down where I was constantly picking him in Mock Drafts.

Happy about the Broncos getting their QBOTF and lost just a 3rd rounder.
See Rick Smith? That's the RIGHT way to work a trade up. |

![]() A home run threat on every snap. A nice complement with Hopkins and Strong. Big investment to the offense which needed speed in the offseason and now have it with the additions of Fuller and Lamar Miller. You want to know another receiver with questions about his hands out of college? Quote:

This makes me wonder how they feel about Sean Davis and Vonn Bell. Maybe we could get Miles Killebrew. Heck TJ Green and KJ Dillon are possible too.

Were it mine to do, I would have offered the Broncos the same move down and have two third-rounders. With my three top guys all off the board at #22, I would have moved down to #31 and added #94, selected Ifedi or a d-lineman and come back in the second to take Martin, Shepard, Chris Jones or Nassib depending on how the chips fell.
Fuller might have still been there at #31 anyway. Rob Rang had him listed as the 35th best prospect in the draft. Until proven otherwise, I see Fuller as a guy whose upside is Alvin Harper and his downside is Darius Heywood-Bey. Not worth the 21st or 22nd pick but in the discussion at the beginning of Round 2. |
