Default Weaver vs. Cochran

Why is Weaver playing instead of Earl Cochran (or even suiting up)? Is it his drop back skills, leadership skills, contract or he's an all around better player (5 tackles in 2 games, 0 passes defended). There has to be some logic to this, I just can't grasp it though.

well, if weaver is that bad (and he is) and cochran can't show himself to be clearly better...i'd say it's probably because he's not that great either.

Cochran has been hurt. His back has been bothering him. He is the second best DE on the team. Once healthy he will be on the field.

Thanks, at least there's a logical answer, as he appeared to play well last year along with Kalu.

To answer the question above, Cochran doesn't make 6 mil/yr! Cut weaver's ass NOW!

And anybody else who doesn't want to give his all.

I'm really tired of players being given a starting job because they are paid big bucks or we made some ridiculous trade for them. Put the best player on the field. Carr had to be the worst example of the Texans handing a starting job to someone that didn't earn it.

as I was driving in to work yesterday afternoon, I heard on the radio that Ahman was relegated to taking snaps with the scout team. TIFWIW

It wouldn't knock a freckle off my, but they need to give Chris Brown an injury waiver, and cut both Ahman Green and Weaver, like right now!
