OTAs begin

Due to weather OTAs will start one day late for Texans, or Wednesday.

Looks like 89 players reporting, I think that is everyone currently signed.

I guess we have questions with every position group we hope to have at least partially answered over the next month or so of OTAs.

Like how will QBs look, how about safeties? and so on.

Sounds like Louis Nix is back and had a good first day.

Offense getting a few positive comments so far.

Last year draft picks OG, Zuafilo, and TE Fidorowitz looking good so far. Better condition and knowing the system.

Then at RB, perhaps better than last year, adding chris Polk , FA, with flexibility including KRs.

And sounds like a wealth of good options at WR.

Of course at WB, seems everyone including Savage healthy and making some good throws.

So Nix hit his personal goal (and the head coachs) by completely a practice
session. Does this mean his retirement from the NFL is imminent ?

Well 10 days voluntary OTAs are over. A good attendance and no bad injuries are some positives. Mandatory mini camp this week and then about 5 more weeks till regular training camp begins.

On defense, new NTs and new safeties.
