No way, I think it would be foolish given how much APs contract is and therfor we'd be obligated to assume cap wise. Get several more backs with a mid or late-round pick and signing of undrafted rookies an see which one(s) is/are best in preseson to retain on the roster.

Running game doesn't seem to be the problem. Why spend an arm and a leg to improve it slightly?
If AP could throw for 4,000 yds, a more compelling case could be made. |

I actually prefer Foster. Peterson has never been a pass catcher, and I think what Foster does in the passing game more than makes up for the small difference in running ability. Especially since O'Brien's offense makes great use of the RB out of the backfield and even motioned out wide.
