Browns tack on a FG, lead 24-19. Browns ball with about 5:20 left in the game.

----------------------------------------

Texans kneel it out.

Final score:

Texans 27, Jags 13

-----------------------------------------

Nice win though it was a slow 1st half. On to the Colts with still something to play for....

A nice win but not a particularly impressive one. I lost count of all the missed tackles Houston had. Fitz was Fitz.

Nonetheless, Houston is above .500 with three weeks to go and climbing in the playoff standings, tied at 7-6 with Miami, Buffalo, Kansas City and Cleveland, probably holding the tiebreaker on many due to better conference mark (6-3). Pittsburgh and Baltimore are still ahead of us along with San Diego in the Wild Card hunt.

I would mention the division race which Cleveland almost helped us big time but you just knew Indy would pull it out at the end and the refs would help. No way in hell we beat the Colts. No chance whatsoever.

Mike Mohamed led the team with 7 tackles @ Jacksonville.

-----------------------------------

Texans didn't have any turnovers. The Texans have had just 4 turnovers in the last 6 games - 2 Mallet INT's, 1 Fitz INT and the AJ fumble vs the Titans.

------------------------------------

JJ Watt is now third in the league in sacks with 14.5. Elvis Dumervil (Bal) and Justin Houston (KC) are tied for 1st with 16.

-----------------------------------

Expect to hear (and read) the phrase "the Texans have never won in Indianapolis" 5,287 times this week.
