Titans were flat from the start. Whisenhunt clearly outcoached in this one too. Not sure what he and his coordinators were thinking on either side of the ball today.

Final was 45-21, but easily could have been 55-7.

Andre Johnson has meant so much to the franchise, but he is not the player he once was. He was figuratively handing over the torch to DeAndre Hopkins even before literally handing over that fumble to McCourty. Is old age catching up to him, or does he just lack the desire he once had to play for this team?

J.J. Watt is pretty much fouled on every snap. How he doesn't draw more holding calls is a total mystery to me. And yet Watt still shows up to post some meaningful stats every game.

Tight end is a definite need this coming offseason. CJF may improve, but Garrett Graham (who must've been hurt today) isn't a fit for this offense, and Brian Griffin just seems to be lacking.

Nice vet play from Fitzy today. He was smart with the football and took a couple chances, too. Whisenhunt challenged him to beat him with the pass come hell or high water, and Fitz put up 6 TDs.

Oh and Kendall Wright can GTFO with his selfie TD celebration in a blowout.

With the exception of that one nice catch in the EZ, I thought Andre was rather indifferent about competing in todays contest. Maybe his feelings are hurt because he's no longer the #1 WR ? Well even though Hopkins seems to have passed him they are still paying Andre like 10 times Hopkins money this year. Even more now it looks like a bad idea to have kept him on the payroll this year at his scale.
But Hopkins and Fitz both had career days todays and it was an easy win for the Texans, but the Titans are really beat up so don't know how much it really means ?

Early line has the Texans as a 4 pt favorite @ Jax..... A little high, I think, since the Jags beat the NYG's today... Would be 10 pts here in Houston....

Hopkins fantasy owners have to be ecstatic. I doubt there were any Fitzgerald owners unless they are women who love beards or something.

Almost seemed wasteful running up the score on them like there were so many other games I wish we could have borrowed a few of those points we scored today - like against the Cowboys, Steelers, Bengals, etc.

Impressive win for a team that all but had their playoff hopes ended last week. You rarely see a team playing out the string put together that kind of effort.

Fitzpatrick was very good, but in a career day he still managed to throw a half dozen ground balls (half of which Hopkins caught).

Keith, I've also never understood how Watt doesn't draw half a dozen holding calls per game. Maybe it's because they allow far more on interior line play than they do with edge rushers. Either way he is approaching folk hero status. If I was out of the country for the last 4 years and came home today and somebody accurately described who JJ Watt was, I'd be 100% certain they were making the guy up.

And even Chuck had to be fired up to see X'ua-Filo play a good game.

I aarived late to my hangout so the Texans were already up, 14-0. I watched but not with devotion because the Titans never appeared to get close enough. I divided my time between watching Colt McCoy (poor guy) and Johnny Manzeil (he got flattened on one play that was a must-see) and watching the Saints outlast the Steelers in Pittsburgh. How is it that the Saints are suddenly a better road team than they are a home team?

Anyway, today was a blast. Texans win big. Broncos win a key game. Roethlisberger looking helpless in a losing effort. Tom Brady shouting F-bombs on the sidelines as the Packers beat him. Got to chat with two pretty bartenders. Not a bad way to spend 10 hours and $20.

If you only spent 20 bucks in 10 hours, I don't like your chances with the bartenders.
