New set of downs - wow, breaks have gone our way today, we shouldn't even be in the game but it seems we still are in the 4th Q.

Dunno, he or Colt McCoy would be an improvement.... Love the way Fitz scrambles but he's missing a few tools in his tool chest....

You know, just basic competence in any one fing facet of the game and the Texans win. This is just a terribly run franchise, just a total disgrace. And BOB's Yoda Jr act is growing a little thin with me, too, what with all the false start penalties, the lost challenges, the horrible special teams, I could go on. Coach a competent fing team for once you dimple chin dickwad and then maybe you can earn some attitude.

But you are still talking care-taker till the real QB comes along aren't you?

maybe at 4-5 is a good thing if seen as taking us out of playoff picture and we start to see our two QB in waiting a little?

DCD gets paid to win today. There is no way in hell that he'll play either of the other two quarterbacks if he thinks (correctly, I would imagine) that Fitz gives the team the best chance to win.

And to echo what someone else mentioned, I didn't notice any huge drop off in production once the two starting corners went down. That's pretty sad.

Well, I was siding with Fitz/O'Brien "plan" up until the last couple of weeks. Lately, I'm seeing inaccurate passing at the wrong moments and Fitz sometimes freezing up for half a second when the pressure gets close as though he is expecting the sack. I'm not sure that's fixable....

Yes, I think the only way we get to see what Mallet or Savage has to offer is when the team record goes to pot. Might take a few more weeks for it to get bad enough for a change to happen....

Sanchez, gee that sounds Hispanic ? Yea he'd fit in fine in Houston, would only expand the fan base.
The offseason is gonna be real interesting for the QB situation, but in the meantime does O'Brien make any changes at QB after the bye-week ?

@McClain_on_NFL: When asked bout possible change at QB 4 "spark" O'Brien said every position 2B evaluated, including QB. Could have said Fitzy is our starter

We had no business being in this game. The tackling was atrocious. Fitz couldn't hit anyone more than five yards downfield. I wasn't sure whether I felt better when he did throw or when he didn't. For the first time this season, I was ready to see the backup. And that was by halftime. Case Keenum would have been better than this.

There was one classic sequence in the second half when Hopkins caught a crossing pass and took it down to around the Eagles 15:

First Down: Miss the pass to Hopkins who begs for flag.
Second Down: Hopkins and Martin run crossing routes right into each other as the pass sails wide.
Third down: Another off-target throw to AJ in the end zone who begs for a flag.
Fourth down: Bullock misses the FG.

Classic Oilers. Houston has still never beaten Philly either as the Oilers or the Texans.

We're very ready for the bye week and I hope O'Brien uses the time to coach up a replacement for Fitz. His rag arm is getting worse as the season progresses.
