Default Brian Cushing Injury Watch 2014

The Texans placed Brian Cushing on the PUP to start training camp. This may be a more of a risk avoidance move than something truly to be concerned about, but color me nervous given the recent history.

Hoping Cushing can find a way back to even somewhere close to where he was... the defense really depends upon him.

Ya, I've been hearing (reading) a few rumors.... that the injury last year was more severe than thought. Very good, possibly great player if he can stay healthy for 16 games.....

Louis Nix is also on the PUP list, meaning he failed his physical. Not good when the third rounder you traded up for can't pass his physical.

Rick Smith has not exactly had knock-out success with his third-round picks.
