Default Clowney Signs Deal With Texans

No holdout. The man wants to play ball. Good thing, too, since he has a new position to learn.

Good deal. I like the easy-to-work-with shown by both sides...

Saw this in another forum:

Clowney's high school highlights. Just under 12 mins running time.

Check out Clowney the tailback as well as playing DE....

Clowney truly is a remarkable athlete and one's got to wonder what kind of a TE this guy might be in the NFL ? Didn't new Texans' LB coach Vrabel play some TE for the Pats back in the day ? Maybe they can come up with a couple plays for JD at TE here in Houston ? He'd be a weapon in the red-zone.
Now as far as this guy playing upright at LB, doubt that few former college DEs would have the raw athletic skills to handle that conversion like Clowney ?

It's a shame the Texans don't play the Patriots this year. I'd love to see them second and goal from the five and send out Clowney and Watt as a dual TEs. Belichick would burn a time out quicker than you can shout Linda!

Clowney had sports hernia surgery. Should be ready to go for training camp.
