Jacksonville will almost certainly take a QB since Gabbert has been a bust and Chad Henne is not the answer. Right now, the consensus is Bridgewater or Mariota (if he comes out) and I'm not ga-ga about either one although I think Bridgewater is the better prospect.

What scares me about Mariota is he'll be coming out of a spread offense (just like Keenum) and seems to save his worst performances for his biggest games.I think he and Manziel would both be smart to spend another year in college rather than being so hasty about turning pro.

Definitely, the QB class with Luck/Griffin/Tannehill was better than this one.

I never thought we'd be able to draft Clowney but he hasn't been helping his stock this season which might also be a red flag. I think somebody has given him some bad advice about protecting himself this season so he isn't injured for the draft and he's been half-assing all year. Dude has off-the-charts ability and he's from McNair's alma mater so we'd probably take him if he's there but I worry if he isn't a baller and gets complacent with a fat contract.

Back to the Jags, I think they are still playing hard but, without Blackmon, teams can just fill the box and stop Gary Coleman. They have some nice receiving weapons (Shorts, Lewis) but Henne probably still has nightmares from the last time he played against J.J. Swatt.
