Here's hoping Schaub has a good game and protects the ball.

Let's have a full game something like first half against Seattle.

Build some consistency and confidence headed to playoffs.

My opinion, it could happen.

Both teams have been a bit dysfunctional so far this season, causing some self-doubt. I think the SF defense is much better when Patrick Willis is playing. He'll be a big factor in stopping Foster/Tate.

The next question is whether the Texans try to make this a "statement game". They haven't had much success in those, especially on the road.

as long as they don't break out the letterman jackets i am fine with this being a statement game.

God I hope I'm wrong, but I look for a real understated effort by the Texans tomorrow night in San Fran. Like I say, hope they fool me but after last Sundays
maximum effort against Seattle in a game which they should have clearly won I don't expect to see that same team take the field tomorrow night on the road on the west coast.

Why does Kubiak never defer after winning the toss? Most coaches defer. Sorry, just trying keep my mind off of our crap QB play.

Great start, two penalties on OD moves us from 20 back to 35 and then hook FG from 45 yarder. Yikes. Still only getting started. Maybe defense can get points back.
