The 8-1 Texans will be host to the 1-8 Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday at Reliant with noon kickoff. The Texans have been pretty good at not taking weaker opponents lightly and this should be a situation where they continue to take-care-of-business. Hopefully, the Texans can jump out to an early lead and begin to rest starters as they will have to turn it around and play Detroit on Thanksgiving just four days later.
It's been all downhill for the Jags since MJD went down with a foot injury and he will be out in Sunday's game against the Texans. At present, S Dwight Lowery, FB Greg Jones and CB Rashean Mathis are all listed as questionable. The Jags are currently on a six game losing streak. The Jags are a young team in search of an identity and should not be underestimated. TV = CBS (channel 11 local), noon Sunday Announcers = Bill Macatee, Steve Tasker The line = Texans by 15 to 16.5 |

I think this is the least excited I am for a game that I can remember...
So, it will probably be a close one. ![]() The Hags are terrible, and we "should" dominate. I am hopeful that we are in a position in the 4 Qtr. to sit Schaub, Arian, Dre, and Watt.

Jacksonville's defense is not that bad. It's just that it spends too much time on the field because the offense can't stay on the field or move the chains much. That was certainly the storyline in Jacksonville when we played early this season. We are also an easier team to defend if we are short-handed. If there's no Daniels, no Tate, etc. then we will have trouble generating big plays with fewer weapons.
I can understand why everyone wants to look at this like a bye week but the Texans may not win with a lot of style points. They may just win. |

I'll be surprised if the Texans' defense doesn't score more points than the Jaguars' offense. And I won't be terribly surprised if that number turns out to be more than the Texans' offense, too.

OD is back at practice, Tate practiced yesterday, but was sore and held out today. IMO, OD is a weapon, Tate is a breather/fill in. Forsett can do the same vs. the Jags.

Tate is out again this week.
OD and Cody are game time decisions. - Per Jabba, Kubiak is optimistic on both.

With Dobbins having a questionable shoulder I wonder if Sharpton gets activated off PUP?
If Sharpton activated I guess someone has to be cut. |

Cannot believe the roof is closed today.
Well, I can believe it, but it still makes no sense whatsoever.
