It must be the Texans that are unwilling to negotiate. I have to imagine they look at Schaub and think he is a gamble to play full seasons into his mid-30s coming off a lisfranc injury, I dunno.

I agree though. I didn't see nearly enough progress from Yates this preseason to think he'd be ready to carry the team in 2013.

To think, the Texans could have extended Schaub and created enough room to keep either Winston or DeMeco...

Schaub's market value must be tough to get a clear estimate on though.
