Making matters worse for the Ravens is the timing. If this had happened a week ago, they could have adjusted their draft plans accordingly.
They drafted Courtney Upshaw in the first round. Granted that was to replace the other DE that left in free agency but I don't think they are hurting that badly. Bad timing would have been losing him the last week of August.
