Hmm, OK. Maybe I'm wrong. NBC showed it in bracket-like form but come to think of it, there were no connecting lines.....

After the wild card round, the brackets are reset by seeds.

So, if 3 beats 6, 3 plays 2.
If 6 beats 3, 6 plays 1.
If 4 beats 5, they play 1 if 3 beats 6 but plays 2 if 6 beats 3.
If 5 beats 4, they play 1 if 3 beats 6 but plays 2 if 6 beats 3.

Think through it and it will make sense. The key is that the highest seed always plays the worst remaining seed.

Half of the AFC playoff teams are from the North as division winner NE is the lone team from the East. And the Jets end up at .500, I dunno has Ryan predicted a victory for the 2013 SB yet ?
