Greetings from the Austin Sam's Boat

Well, we spotted the Jags a 7-0 lead and have since dominated, 20-3.

Obviously, the worry is over the QB position but Yates showed a lot of moxie in his short appearance. Expect us to run a lot and shorten the game in the second half. If the defense can keep Gary Coleman from running wild on them the second half, I think we can hold onto that 10-pt lead.

We just need to keep from having to ask Yates to make plays for us and we ought to be okay.

Why the hell not? I was already on the Leinart bandwagon. How much more delusional can I get?

Incidentally, since when is it intentional grounding to chuck one into the end zone seats? I thought you could do that regardless of whether you are in the tackle box as long as the throw reached the line of scrimmage.

I can jump on the unknown band wagon easier than I could get behind what I knew about leinhart. The lack of knowledge makes it easier to be delusional.

Kubes says Leinart is done for the day. Kevin Harlin doesn't know it but now you do.

2nd half kickoff goes out of the endzone so Texans ball at their 20.

Foster for 1. 2nd and 9 coming up.

Pass to OD is broken up, inc. 3rd and 9 coming up.

Pass to AJ goes inc. Texans have to punt.

Jags bring the punt back to their 30. Flag down on the play. Illegal block in back on Jags backs the ball up to the Jag 20.

rumor - broken collarbone for Leinart.

Owen Daniels will QB if Yates can't finish.

Pass to Karim is dropped. Jags have to punt.

JJ is tackled at the Texan 22 on the punt.

Tate goes for 11.

Tate for 4. 2nd and 6 coming up.

Tate for 2. 3rd and 4 coming up.

Yates pressured, chunks it away, inc. Texans have to punt. 8:46 left in the 3rd quarter.

Punt goes out of bounds at the Jags 24. Jags ball.

Barwin with sack #3! Loss of 10. 2nd and 20 coming up.

Watt/Jamison sack Gabbert again! Loss of 6. Makes it 3rd and 26. (I think they got the Texans for roughing the passer) At any rate, Jags have a 1st and 10 at their 23.

MJD for 5. 2nd and 5 coming up.

Flags presnap. False start Jags -5. Makes 2nd and 10 coming up.

Dump off to MJD goes for 27 yards, ball at midfield, 1st down.

Owens TFL'ed for -1. Makes it 2nd and 11.

Dump off to Owens gets 6. 3rd and 5 coming up.

Gabbert is sacked by Reed -1. Jags have to punt.

JJ fair catches the punt at the Texan 8.

Whoa, Foster fumbles but D Brown jumps on it. Loss of 4. Makes it 2nd and 14.

Pass to OD gets 3. Makes it 3rd and 11.

Foster for 5 so Texans have to punt.

Hartmann's punt rolls all the way to the Jags 32/33. Jags ball.

So I guess Kubiak is hoping that the defense will win this game.

I understand, but if you keep dropping these 3 and outs, its only so long before the Jags offense gets going and our defense gets tired.
