What If The Colts Draft Luck?

Ya know, I might be in the minority here, and judging from all the damn media surrounding this guy, apparently I am....

I don't see a "Manning" type when I watch Luck play. I'll admit, I haven't seen every snap of every game the kid has played, but I've seen a couple. I saw more of Manning in college, probably because of SEC being on TV more here, but based on what I have seen, I just don't get the utter infatuation with this guy. Do I think he should be the #1 pick, sure. Do I think he is the next Manning or Elway....can't see that. HUGE difference in the two, IMO. Just because the kid will be the #1 overall, doesn't mean he'll slip right into the shoes of one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game.

I could be wrong, been there, done that plenty, but I think crowning this kid a sure thing is a little much.

Reggie Bush was the next Gayle Sayers......how'd that work out?
