Schaub has 6 turnovers in 8 games. That is a very good number. And jacksonville spent $110 million this offseason for a top 10 defense. Our offensive output today without AJ was solid.

I'm fairly supportive of Schaub, not a big critic at all, but his receivers saved him on a couple plays today, especially that TD catch by Dressen that was oh so close to being intercepted in the EZ.

Yep. That Dreesen TD was unbelievable.

And the shoestring grab by OD to "seal the deal" so to speak.

I hope Schaub's ills are just due to Andre being out.

Come back soon, 'Dre.

I am a firm believer that when AJ comes back, you will see Schaub's numbers rise, as Dre is usually good for a 6 of 9; 7 of 10 type target to catch ratio.

I was @ the game, and based on the situations of each, I had no problem with the 2 failed challenges. In looking at the big board in the stadium, it was questionable at best, and based on the situation of each individual play, they were worth it. Didn't work out, but didn't cost us a ball game.

Brian Freaking Cushing.....WOWZERS! That dude is nails.

I'll tell ya, I was very impressed with the revamped Jags D. Those guys were flying around pretty good. Not sure it will be the same next time around or not, especially since we "should" be at full arsenal for the rematch.

Think about that for a second.....we have had our full complement of offensive firepower for 1 quarter the entire season, yet we are still ranked in the Top 10 at the mid way point. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Tate - You have GOT to hold on to the ball kid. Plain and simple.

Jason Allen proved yet again that he has better ball skills/awareness than Kareem. Kareem made a couple of good plays on the ball as well, but Allen has some sort of a knack. He showed it last year as well. BUT, for whatever reason, the coaching staff still believes in Kareem, so we will likely keep bitching about it.....

5-3 gents. All things considered, pretty happy with this start, sure hope we don't lose anyone else. This IR thing is getting a little out of hand.

I'm noticing Schaub has some sort of brace or support on his throwing shoulder for the past few weeks and wonder if this has anything to do with some of the ducks he has been throwing. It almost seems like he's more accurate when he zips the ball downfield but when he tries to aim touch passes to short receivers, the throws look ugly.

Schaub's shoulder bothering him could, or might not, be the reason he plays like an All-Pro one week, and arguably has a bad game the next. And yeah, he even ran in a two yard TD. He still needs to be more consistant on a week to week basis to go very far, if and when, We reach the playoffs.

And, oh yes, Dre would make any NFL QB look better. Hope he is back by this next game against Cleveland.

That is heat tape on his right shoulder, I've seen Walters and a few other players wear it in the last few years. A couple years ago he did were a brace on his left shoulder, not sure he is still doing that now.
