Let's hope Kubiak takes his own advise and is "smart" about AJs return because the Titans have now emerged as our primary competition for the divison title this year. Kubiak therefor needs to understand (he should, his job here depends on it) that beating Tenn is a far bigger priority than putting AJ back in action, perhaps prematurely, in a game in Baltimore this weekend that is less important and a real long-shot to win anyway.

Kubiak said fullback James Casey has a "strained" and not a torn pectoral muscle and will be "day-to-day" as the Texans prepare for Sunday's game at Baltimore.

Atleast the news on Casey is comparitively positive.

i am no doctor, but i would say that even if he is ready to go this weekend, i would prefer they sit him one more week to make sure everythign is ok. this one game isn't worth a reaggrivation of the injury, and the titans game is much, much more important than baltimore. i would love to beat baltimore, but woudl much rather have andre healthy for the rest of the year. heck if he isnt ready this week, and the titans game is the first game he is "ready" for, then i would be inclined to keep him out that game (resting him one more game than "necessary") just to be on the safe side and to be as sure as possible that we have him for the second half of the season.

Raiders only had 10 men on the field for the final play according to PFT...

In what was a fitting, albeit surely unintentional, missing-man formation tribute to Mr. Davis, the Raiders managed to keep the Texans from scoring with only 10 players on the field.

A reader tipped us off to the intriguing glitch earlier today, and we’ve pulled up the video of the game from the excellent Game Rewind service at NFL.com. It’s true — the Raiders had only 10 men on the field.

Just proves how out of our element we were at that moment. With only 10 men on the field for the Raiders, the Oline couldn't even block long enough for the elephant in our backfield to find an open receiver. Which says a lot for the Raiders ability to cover our receivers, as well as their pass rushers. Jeez!
