now if andre is gone for an extended period of time, it would be nice to have a better #2 to step in while he is out, but the offense, even without AJ, has plenty of firepower.

with all that said, i sure wouldn't mind another good wr
If OD is our #2WR we are in trouble, because the TE has too many other jobs to do besides catching the ball. And if JJ & Walter just stand around, make a few blocks, and don't factor in to the passing game, we will start seeing 8 & 9 man Dlines all the time.

I hope Kubiak can come up with a good game plan to offset AJ's absence. Not a good thought. Wade too, will have to get his troops to play at the top of their game, if we hope to win this weekend.

San Diego was the #1 offense in the NFL last year with a te as their #2. It works just fine.

I don't understand the notion that JJ can't stretch the defense. IMO, that ought to be his greatest strength. I know some of you will say he can't stretch the defense if he can't catch the ball but, trust me, NO NFL defense is going to let somebody intentionally run behind their coverage, not even if it's Jim Abbott. Because NO NFL D-Coord is not going to blow their fuse if the secondary lets a speedster run behind them for a cheap touchdown.
