Foster tripped up for loss of 2. 2nd and 12 coming up.

Foster goes right side for 3. 3rd and 9 coming up.

Screen to Foster only gets about 3. Texans have to punt.

Steelers fair catch the punt at their 10 yard line. 8:30 left in the game.

As good as our offense is (on paper) the reason it cannot be considered elite is because of the inconsistencies in crunch situations. An elite team would've converted on that crucial 3rd down.

We still have issues putting our foot on the throat of our competition...

We knock them out...and then wait for them to get back up...

McFadden is pretty damn good.

Moore goes for no gain. 2nd and 10 coming up.

Pass to Brown goes for 16 and a 1st down.

Pass to Brown goes inc. 2nd and 10 coming up.

Roethlisberger is sacked! A Smith, I think. Makes it 3rd and 16.

Flag presnap. Offsides Steelers -5. Makes it 3rd and 21.

Sack by Mario! Steelers have to punt!

Damn JJ, run already. JJ returns the ball to the Texan 34.

Schaub has been particularly inaccurate with his short passes today.

I'm glad the front seven is abusing this beat-up line.

With as much room as he's been getting on these punts he should be averaging more than 5 yards per return...

Foster for about 2. 2nd and 8 coming up.

Foster for 2 more. 3rd and 6 coming up.

Timeout Texans with 3:55 left in the game.

Schaub's deep pass down the sideline to JJ is broken up. Texans have to punt.

Steeler's Brown returns the punt to the Texan 48.

So are we truly content with our #2 WR?

Outside of Andre Johnson...the only other completions have been to 3 TEs and a RB...

I don't think any of the penalties against us were wrong but Pittsburgh could be called for holding on every play.

Quick slant to Ward goes inc.

Roethlisberger can't find a receiver and scrambles for about 3. 3rd and 7 coming up.

Pass is broken up by Nolan. 4th and 7 coming up. Steelers to go for it.

Pass is tipped by Barwin! Texans take over on downs! 2:33 left the game.

Foster for 2. Steelers use their last timeout at the 2:28 mark. 2nd and 8 coming up.

Foster for 2. Will make it 3rd and 6 at the 2 minute warning.

--------------

Foster gets about 5 so the Texans will have to punt on 4th down. Texans use a timeout, have one left.

Punt is downed at the Steeler 1 yard line. 1:02 left in the game.

Roethlisberger's pass is INT'ed but they are going to get Watt for roughing the passer. Steelers ball at the 16.

Pass to Brown good to the Steeler 28, 1st down. 42 seconds left.

Dump off to Redman gets 12.

Roethlisberger spikes it with 19 seconds left.

Deep pass is INT'ed by Allen! No flags!

Texans kneeling it out.

Final score:

Texans 17, Steelers 10

Terrible call. Pouncey has a hand in his facemask and then blocks him into ben.

Truly awful officiating. You can say that each holding/block in the back/hands to the face call against the Texans was a penalty, but you can call holding on every play in the NFL. And it certainly wasn't called both ways. Mario got mugged on a number of plays and never got a call. Antonio Smith too. They catch Meyers for hands to the face, but Pouncey gets away with it in the endzone and it becomes a personal foul on watt. Not to mention a phantom illegal contact call erasing another turnover where no number is even given for the guilty party.

I'm grateful for the win but I'm still not sold. How many TDs could the Steeler refs take away in one game? I guess it would have looked too obvious to call pass interference on Allen during that INT but I wouldn't have put it past them.

The NFL is becoming the NBA with refs deciding the outcome.

Nice win guys. Now do it again next week.

I would like to know who the hell the illegal contact call was on but the only call I thought was plainly bullshit was the roughing call on Watt at the end.

This was a huge, huge win.

All the undisciplined BS, two TDs wiped off, the rough offensive day against such a great D, losing our best offensive player, and we STILL won.

AT home.

Against the STEELERS.

After giving them like 18 chances.
