We all heard by now of Foster’s tweet regarding his thoughts on Fantasy players. But did he encourage Fantasy owners to care more about Ben Tate’s season-ending injury last season (which by the way, gave Foster the opportunity to shine with Houston)?

Not only is he right, but that is VERY much Arians thought process. Think Ricky Williams without the weed and I think you will come close to how Arian works mentally.

I'm not sure if I would call it out of line, but after todays twitter madness with an ESPN certified torn hammy, I would call him FREAKING HISTARICAL.
Sadly, I see the darkness of Texan twitter accounts coming......

He's gonna be fine. The ESPN doctor even said 2 weeks, well 2-3, and then said that with treatment you can speed up the process. I'm not the least bit worried. He had a torn meniscus all year last year and still put up 2200 yards from scrimmage. Pain isn't real to this guy.

Actually pain is real or he wouldn't have hopped and fell to the ground when he re-injured the hammy. Now ESPN is reporting this as a hamstring tear, not a pull. Given how slowly some hamstrings can heal, I'd be concerned.

This was after he was stretching and jogging with the team the last two days.... No doubt her hurt his hammy, no question whatsoever, but this swirl of media speculation is nothing short of a hoax driven by a guy that is known for being a little....."different". Till I hear it from the Texans, I'm assuming this is all BS.

On 610 they had Dr. Kenneth R. First on a little while ago. He said he took a look at the tweeted MRI, passed it by his radiologist, talked to a couple of other NFL trainers. There are many teams with many ham pulls this preseason.
He said from what he and radiologist sees , my interpretation of what I think I heard, and it would be better to see other views and previous historical MRI's, but this is a low grade class 1 strain indicated. without seeing more it is not class 2 and likely not a tear, but more analysis , who knows for sure. Team would know more. He said he would double the rehab time from when Arian feels good and MRI clears, so that would be 2-3 weeks most likely. so might be safe to keep out of first real game, but he isn't there and further mri's and foster healing would tell that. especially maybe extend the healing since it is a recurring injury. He said some teams use local cortizone treatment, he thinks Texans don't , but do a voluntary platelette infusion treatment for faster recovery, not sure if done, ands of course the traditional hot/cold treatment with massage of area. I would say when I played sports, which means nothing now, except on the pain, I suffered a ham pull or two, it only hurt for me on the instant of the strain, and after that no pain. couldn't run initially but then got better quickly. and back jogging and light workout after one day. Now, likely someone from Texans is talking to Arian about his tweets I would guess. But, for me, they are entertaining enough. no big deal. |

Haha, "dealt with." I'm gonna laugh when he tweeds something next week and gets suspended for the opener, despite being "ready to go."
