Not sure if I'd put that commendation as a positive; Dilfer always seems to be infatuated with mediocre quarterbacks. Project much?

I think we need to keep in perspective that this was a 5th round pick projected to become a back-up QB. They all can't be Tom Brady.
On another note....Jerrell Powe is taken by KC. So, maybe Ian Williams from N.D. or Chris Neild from WVa.

That "Mr. Irrelevant" pick is gonna be worth alot more this year. With the lockout in place, teams can't sign UDFA until it's resolved. If a team wants a guy that has fallen, they're gonna have to draft him to make sure they get him. Otherwise, they risk losing him to another team.
Wonder what its worth to some teams, maybe a 5th next year??? ![]() Pimp that last pick Kubes!! |

Only O'Dowd is left. Schilling just went to San Diego, and Love went earlier to Minny.

I haven't been paying close enough attention because they aren't 'announcing' the picks anymore. Just going over all the guys that have already been selected. Has my WR been drafted, yet?
WR Ricardo Lockette Fort Valley State 6'2" 211 4.4 WR Stephen Burton West Texas A&M 6'1" 221 4.5

McElroy gets selected at #208 to be the backup to Mark Sanchez. So, perhaps the Texans were afraid their backup would not make it down to #214 and went ahead and pulled the trigger on Yates in the 5th round. Without the 6th round pick...I can see the logic if they went into the draft wanting to address the backup QB position.
