Here is a scenario that I'm thinking about:

Imagine that we have to beat the Colts to make the playoffs. We are ahead by a score of 34 - 31 with 2:25 left in the game. The ball is sitting on our 27 yard line and it is 3rd down and 3 yards to go for a 1st down. Who do you feel comfortable handing the ball to to pick up the 1st down?

I want a guy who is going to break a tackle, push the pile, or do whatever it takes to get me those three yards. Currently, I don't have a guy on this roster that I feel confident in to do that. Therefore, I'm going to have to rely on a pass play (probably a quick slant to #80) and hope for a completion. Unfortunately, that makes me predictable.

Looking at the Dolphins depth chart; Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, and Patrick Cobbs are the top 3 RBs on their roster. My pipe dream would be to acquire 6'0" 224lbs Jalen Parmele.

My 2nd choice would also come from the AFC East. The Patriots signed Lamont Jordan to go along with Laurence Maroney and Kevin Faulk. In addition they are carrying Sammy Morris on the roster. I'm hopeful that we might be able to go after BenJarvus Green-Ellis. He was an undrafted FA that I campaigned for during the draft. He's not fast (4.55 - 40), but he moves the pile forward.
