Nobody shows up better on the national stage and nobody matches physicality with physicality and intensity with intensity like a Gary Kubiak-led Texans team. Should be a cakewalk.

From the looks of it last night, it would appear they will be without Heap next Monday. Pulled up lame on the first play of the game, and looked to be in some serious pain.

Mark that down as something that doesn't suck.

On offense they're receivers lack deep speed and there line is not that good, so I'm thinking we can get to Flacco ? On the other side of the ball, the Ravens Dline may have mauled Pitts' OLine and Ngata and Suggs are outstanding, but we've got a better line than Pittsburg and I think Schaub will have some time, though his opportunities will be limited. Lewis is way past his prime, as he specializes on jumping on piles long after the ball carrier has been downed.
I see us winning this game, not that it makes that much difference because any real chance the Texans had of making the playoffs is now probably history.

Hey I'm serious, the Ravens aren't the only team in this game that lost their last outing and therefor will come into this MNF contest really pizzed-off looking for some azz to kick. I'm thinking Ray Lewis and Ngata had better have their bonnets secured tightly because it's gonna be stormy-weather in H-Town this Monday.

If history is any indication, the Ravens will find a way to score 28 points, so the Texans have to find a way to score 29. I'm having a hard time believing we're going to put up those kinds of numbers against the Ravens D.

All kidding aside, the Texans MUST put up a better opening quarter defense than they have shown recently to have a chance. If we get behind in the first quarter by 14 or 21 points, as we have been doing lately, you can kiss the game goodby. The Ravens defense is just too good for that to happen.

Texans never show up for nationally televised games. We'll see what happens since they're wearing their battle reds......

I suspect the last shred of a playoff hope dies if the Texans lose this week now that Jacksonville has won.

Yeah, if they lose it probably is all over. They need to win out. There still in it till they ain't.

Jags could still slip against the Colts or overlook the Skins...

I think the way it works is, if we win out, then Indy would have to Jacksonville next week, lose to either Oakland or Tennessee, and Jacksonville has to lose to Washington and if not.......then Week 17 Houston/Jacksonville would be for all the marbles.

And it gets flexed for the marquee prime time game with all the marbles on the table.....

Hey, no one ever say there were rules to the what-if game.

I'm not too worried about the O, Ravens or not, slow start, fast start, whatever. They will put up at least 24 tonight.

The D.....I think someone said earlier thier WR's aren't blazers, and I would agree with that, so maybe we have a chance. Not a Rusty Smith special type of a chance, but at least our DB's won't spend most of the game reading "Boldin" "Mason" or "Some other obscure WR that will go off tonight"

Heading out to drink beer in the orange lot at 3PM on a cold Monday.
NOTHING BETTER!

Sure hope I want to stay in my seat for the whole 4th quarter.....
