Default Slaton May have Re-injured/aggravated his neck

I noticed on Saturday night, on the final drive, that Slaton began to run upright and awkwardly like he was doing last season. I mentioned it to my friend/colleague Barrett. On Sunday, while I was analyzing the offensive line, he went back through the game on DVR and discovered some things very alarming (particularly given Tate's placement on the IR)

You may have something there, but looks like Slayton doesn't want to admit to it per clip at end of this video http://www.houstontexans.com/tv/inde...35&play_clip=y

he says it was a negative play where he jumped into a helmet, shouldn't do that, but gotta move on.

Doubtful there is much to this. Seems too risky for both player and team in the event of a fall out.

He sits this weekend, then you may have something, till then, you are driving blog hits.

looking at photos from todays practice, looks like Steve is ok.

Let's hope we were worrying for nothing .

I like the thoughts and info at Dale and Barrett's Blog, links don't bother me at all.

And glad they comment on our thoughts and add to our discussions and have for several years.

It's great all of us can share our thoughts, concerns, enthusiasm for Texans here.

And now ready to start talking about our next practice game.

Looking at the last photo of the slideshow, it's not a coincidence that Chris White (Catfish) is the only player not sharing a tub. The rest of the team knows better than to sit in a pool of water with him!

That looks like it could have hurt for sure.

So, just asking, does Arizona have some intentional dirty players, or is this accidental contact, or similar to what all players try to do

Do they give out fines for preseason, seems this is helmet to head and could have been avoided. or was there a penalty called at the time?

It sounded like Slayton had some good runs in practice today. As well as Foster. Perhaps we will see more of Henry and Johnson on Saturday.
