Default Marshall traded to the Dolphins

chron.com

And the NFLnetwork are reporting that the Dolphins gave a 2010 2nd round pick and a 2011 2nd round pick to the Broncos for Brandon Marshall.

Makes the Broncos weaker, Josh McDaniels is getting a rep that he can not work with egos and his team will be worse off this season than last, IMO.

The Dolphins on the other hand were able to keep the #12 pick, and still get a solid #1 WR. Also Ted Ginn is not going to be expected to be the man, so he might be able to stay, or not.

Good deal for the Dolphins IF (big if) Marshall stays out of trouble. I really thought he wouldn't fetch more than a 4th or a 5th the way other WRs were flying off the shelf. Marshall has two strikes against him in the bad-PR department with domestic violence incidences. No question, he's an outstanding talent. The question is whether he can keep his nose clean or wind up on a growing list of prima donna WRs who can't stay out of trouble.

Apparently TE Tony Scheffler is the next on McDaniels' fire sale list. He's yours for a third.
