I love Spiller and have since he was a Sophomore at Clemson. However, I'd rather have Ben Tate and Steve Slaton (not fumbling). Kyle Wilson may not still be available at 25. I'll just take Earl Thomas and be happy that I didn't have to trade up in order to get him. Perhaps I can get Brandon Ghee since I missed out on Wilson.

I would have to take Spiller. He was just as great as Mathews was last year in a tougher conference. And the good news is Spiller is sliding a bit because of a lack of feature RB's in the draft. I think if he can get past Seattle there's a good chance he'll be there. But Pete Caroll might wait until the second round and take Joe McKnight.
Mathews is a fine RB, but he and Foster might be a little too redundant in Houston, where as with Spiller we'd get a real homerun threat everytime he's on the field.

With Earl Thomas we'd get a great FS, but I would have to give the nod to Spiller who's a legit top 10 talent.

Default 3 April

Thought I'd give it another go. Probably going to need to update the picks now that there have been a couple more trades, but mainly wanted to see who may go earlier than is being 'expected' based upon needs. Interestingly, the DE's drop in this mock as teams choose their particular flavor.

Round 1
StL QB Sam Bradford
Det DT Ndamukong Suh
TB DT Gerald McCoy
Wash OT Trent Williams - Closer to Clady than Okung
KC OT Russell Okung - Slides Brandon Albert
Sea FS Taylor Mays - College ties
Cle QB Jimmy Clausen - WCO and Holmgren
Oak OT Bruce Campbell
Buf WR Dez Bryant - No T.O. = New T.O.
Jax FS Eric Berry - Reggie Nelson in the dog house
Den LB Sergio Kindle - Opposite of Dumervil
Mia LB Brandon Graham - The "new" DeMarcus
SF FS Earl Thomas - Singletary gets playmaker in Secondary
Sea OT Charles Brown - USC and LT
NYG LB Rolando McClain - Antonio Pearce's replacement
Tenn LB Sean Weatherspoon - Bulluck's replacement
SF OT Bryan Bulaga - Staley has LT, Bulaga can take RT
Pitt CB Kyle Wilson - Exposed Secondary without Troy P.
Atl RB CJ Spiller - Turner, Norwood, & Spiller (Oh My)
Hou CB Joe Haden - A bad 40 is Houston's blessing
Cin DT Dan Williams - AFC North = must stop run game
NEP DE Jared Odrick - Seymour is gone
GB OG Mike Iupati - Not happy with Colledge
Phi RB Ryan Mathews - Perhaps Andy will run more
Bal CB Patrick Robinson - Ed Reed may retire, need better CBs
Arz DT Lamarr Houston - Dockett and Houston
Dal WR Golden Tate - Roy Williams is a bad name in Dallas
SD LB Everson Griffen - Merriman hasn't signed his tender
NYJ DE Carlos Dunlap - Greg Ellis is older now
Minn OT Anthony Davis - Character questions slides him
Ind CB Devin Mcourty - Replaces Marlin Jackson
NO DE Derrick Morgan - Opposite of Will Smith
