Among the players on the West Squad is Colorado St. safety Klint Kubiak, the son of youknowwho.

(Looks like we have our sixth-round choice pencilled in).

On the other hand, Tennessee defensive tackle Dan Williams carries his 329 pounds very well and possesses one of the thickest bases I have ever seen. The guy has a massive bubble, really powerful-looking thighs and looks built to sit into his stance and overwhelm inside.
**
However, the overall winner of the weigh-in was Idaho offensive lineman Mike Iupati, who measured in at 6-5 and carried his 325-pound frame extremely well. But, what was even more impressive were his 35-inch arms and 10 3/8 inch hands. Iupati made the biggest impression on me out of anyone down here today and I have a feeling he’s going to be one of the biggest winners down here this week.

From what I saw, Iupati did not look as good as Jon Asamoah today when they went up against Jared Odrick. Asamoah has gone up against Odrick before as they are both in the same conference, but Jon has short arms supposedly. Who knows? I did come away impressed with Vladimir Ducasse from UMass. I have never seen him play so had no preconceived notion accept that he's huge 6'5" 330lbs and probably not on the Texans radar. Anyway, it was the first day.

Kyle Wilson, the CB from Boise State was the biggest standout of the day. During the CB vs. WR drill, Wilson undercut an out route for an interception on his first rep and was an offensive pass interference away from another on a nine route. Wilson was a premier punt returner in college, which means he is dangerous after an interception.

Yea this guy looked real good yesterday in Mobile and you know the Texans were paying close attention because if Robinson leaves CB will be very, very
high on our priority list.

LZ was raving about him this morning. Should be interesting to watch him rise over the next couple of months.

According to Draft Countdown, the Texans were talking to these guys at the south practice: Dan Williams, Brandon Lang, and Harry Coleman - a defensive tackle, end , and back.

Kyle Wilson was better at BSU than Orlando Scandrick, who starts for Dallas, now. He's a pretty good punt returner, too.
